Our Story

My Scribe is owned by Dr. Shemika Washington. My Scribe is unique in that it offers both academic and professional/personal writing services.

Dr. Washington is a former research professor/comittee chair who knows the challenges of the scientific writing process.  She conducted her research study and wrote an entire dissertation within one year to earn her PhD. She had to overcome anxiety and knowledge deficits concerning research writing, and is now able to develop methods and systems to complete academic writing assignments in half the time. My Scribe provides  consultation services to those needing assistance with dissertations, research projects, and DNP projects.

At My Scribe, we also work with our writers as a book publisher. We work with you every step of the way to bring out the most from your work. From an idea and rough draft, to editing and publication, My Scribe helps our authors produce high quality books.
